bulgarian-finnish art project

 
Bulgarian-Finnish art project includes 4 exhibitions  in  Bulgaria and 4 exhibitions in Finland.  The  project originates from 2006, when the artists met in Nelimarkka Museum in Alajarvi, Finland. The official launch  of  the project took  place  in  the  Finnish Paper  Art  Gallery in Kuusankoski, Finland,  on the 12th of June 2008,  at  the opening of the first exhibition of the series. The same year the project was shown in  The National  Gallery  in  Sofia, Art Gallery -  Dobrich and Cultural Center CAISA in Helsinki.  The project evolves around the idea of European cultural dialogue and during 2009 was shown in The City Gallery of Seinajoki. Now it will be shown in Sredets Gallery of the Ministry of Culture and Lessedra Gallery. The last exhibition will be in  City Gallery of Vaasa - Ostrobothnian Museum and this is the  last  event  from the initial idea.  The second phase of the project will be in 2011 with planers and exhibitions with a cultural and a social purpose,  between Nellimarkka Museum, Alajarvi and Varna Regional Museum of History, who have long term experience in this direction. The  complete  project  will be introduced  in a catalog  with the kind support of The Bulgarian Ministry of Culture and The Finnish Embassy.
